Kona Ice is set to roll up to the ballpark in style serving their amazing, shaved ice.

RCI Sports Management Solutions was able to ink a deal with the locally owned franchise to bring their shaved ice truck to Travis Fields in 2022. Kona Ice has a reputation everywhere they go, and they are loved by all for the signature flavorwave where guests can flavor their own shaved ice. This deal will see a portion of the proceeds go back to RCI to help continue supporting local baseball at Travis Fields.

Looking for an opportunity to become more involved in the local baseball community, owner Lisa Boudiette contacted RCI. The public private partnership at Travis Fields allows for greater flexibility in operations opening the opportunity for RCI to better engage local community businesses.

Lisa and her team are excited about the opportunity at Travis Fields.

Lisa and the Kona Ice team said, “We are grateful that RCI is giving Kona Ice the opportunity to help support youth baseball in our community. Travis Fields is the perfect place to offer the Kona Experience. Shaved ice is what we sell, sharing happiness is what we do.”

“Having Kona Ice is going to be a great addition to Travis Fields at Bryan Midtown Park” said Scott Hillier, RCI Director of Operations.

“Baseball and shaved ice, what more could you want on a hot Texas day after your game, Kona Ice will be a staple at the fields for Bryan United Little League and tournaments. We are looking forward to their location also attracting more of the local community to the fields each week to check out the great baseball and softball being played.”

Events at Travis Fields will begin in early February and the facility is currently fully booked through the summer with limited availability in the Fall. RCI is expecting to announce a Winter Wonderland event in January where Kona Ice will shift gears and be serving hot cocoa.
