Travis Fields to Host Top Softball Prospects

Travis Fields is excited to be hosting five tournaments in 2022 with one of the fastest growing organizers of elite high school baseball events across the country.

 

With Prospect Wire’s new softball initiative, Travis Fields will be a premium facility to assist with the promotion and growth of the softball tourism market. Prospect Wire organizes baseball/softball events that showcase elite individual athletes and teams across the country. As a result, they have over 25,000 current prospects which makes them one of the largest scouting services for high school baseball and soon to be softball. Over the past year, they were able to partner with 5 Tool Sports and Performance Events to create Prospect Wire Softball. Prospect Wire plans to utilize their technology for data collection and analytics to advance the sport of softball to a whole new level of success and development.

 

Kristi Malpass, the Tournament Director for Prospect Wire Softball, is excited with the potential that the College Station/Bryan community has to offer. Along with the central location of College Station/Bryan and easy access for out of state teams with nearby airports, she appreciates the numerous amounts of local hotels, restaurants, and opportunities for entertainment outside of the tournament that are available.

 

In relation to the new Travis Fields host site for their tournaments, Kristi stated, “We are looking forward to having a premier facility for our events.” With the turf fields, “it will allow us to bring in more teams to our events and create less worry about the weather.”

 

When the Travis Fields complex opens in 2022, RCI Sport Management Solutions, operators of Travis Fields, will be excited to host Prospect Wires events and help promote the growth of softball in Bryan-College Station and nationally. These events are only the beginning for growing and developing the softball tourism market in the local community.
