Travis Fields Winter Wonderland 2023 Recap
Dec. 7th, 2023
Christmas came to Travis Fields on Saturday, December 2nd! This was the second annual Winter Wonderland presented by the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library & Museum. With over 760 guests in attendance, this event exceeded expectations, and was the best of times! With holiday games, meeting winter characters, choir performances, a toy drive, and more, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to ring in the holiday season.
Travis Fields was filled with families partaking in all the Winter Wonderland event had to offer. A highlight of the day included getting to meet winter characters including Elsa, Santa, Mrs. Clause, Tiny the elf, and even the Grinch! Guests could get their face painted, play snowball dodgeball, visit the petting zoo, purchase holiday concessions, and ride a train to the north pole. Santa and his team from the Marine Corps League Detachment 1391 were even handing out early Christmas presents provided by PetSmarts. The Kemp Carver notables and Brazos Valley Chorale spread holiday cheer through caroling performances. Lastly, holiday shopping was in full swing at Candy Cane Lane, where many local vendors were represented with booths.
Thanks to KBTX, you can witness the fun-filled day yourself at https://www.kbtx.com/2023/12/03/christmas-comes-travis-fields/. This event would not have been possible without the support from the George H.W. Presidential Library & Museum, the Marine Corps League Detachment 1391, and PetSmart. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, we will see you next holiday season at our third annual Winter Wonderland!
